  • 1 box brownie mix (for 9x13 pan)
  • 22 Oreos (divided)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to brownie mix instructions and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare brownie batter as per package directions and pour half into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 10 crushed Oreos and layer the remaining brownie batter on top. Bake until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  3. While brownies bake, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the baked brownies and return to the oven for about 20 minutes, or until set.
  5. For the ganache topping, melt chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream together in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Stir in crushed Oreos and pour over the cooled cheesecake layer.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least two hours before slicing.
